This very special version of the vp globe consists of a transparent acrylic dome containing three aluminium reflectors – spray-lacquered on some surfaces in white, red and blue – and two reflectors made of smoke-coloured glass, all hung decoratively on thin chains. Unlit, this functional light fixture looks a bit like an enormous soap bubble, while when it’s lit it resembles a floating ufo.
