Note that the vertical edge of the plates means that a Nordic kitchen plate has the same area for food as many other plates which are 2-4 cm wider.

Cut marks and scratches may appear on the surface of the plates during use. This is not a fault, but something which is inevitable on stoneware, and is part of the rustic look.
