Perhaps he was scratching his head in his Munich studio, looking for inspiration - and a dragonfly flew in through the open window on a Bavarian summer"s day. As those familiar with the fun brand that makes this lamp know, anything can be a lamp at Ingo Maurer - so why not make a dragonfly lamp? The name I Ricchi Poveri means the rich poor, and is possibly a tongue-in-cheek reference to nature and the light bulb. The lamp is equipped with Ambient technology, which is the halogen-loving company Ingo Maurer"'s answer to the power-saving LED.
