Each lamp is composed of an aluminium base in the same shape as the lampshade and a matching aluminium frame covered in smooth white fabric in a striking imitation of greek marble columns, while the wire structure underneath mimics the cannelure of its architectural counterpart. When switched on, the light bulb shines out in all directions through the thin, white shade fabric in a soft and pleasant glare-free glow. Due to the diffuser function of the fabric, you are guaranteed perfectly uniform lighting on all sides.
