Gubi Turbo Ceiling Lamp Glossy 62 Cm Alabaster White
The turbo pendant ø62 glossy alabaster white/white was designed by louis weisdorf in 1965, but wasn’t manufactured for the first time until 1967. It has achieved great success throughout the years as it epitomises great design.
It offers a simple shape containing a complicated structure. Furthermore, it combines the feelings of lightness and strength into one sculptural whole.
The lamp was inspired by japanese rice paper lamps and the desire to make these more durable and robust. The outer curve of the lamp is made from twelve identical spiral slats that create a flower-like globe that protects the light source. The turbo pendant is the perfect example of weisdorf’s passion for putting different elements together, which was a trademark of his work. – enhance your home with scandinavian elegance and modern design.
